We are the sole distributor in the UK for EarthLust - a range of beautifully designed, stainless steel bottles.
EarthLust bottles are hand made from high quality food grade stainless steel. Stainless steel is naturally safe unlined unlike aluminium bottles which need a lining of some sort - enamel or epoxy resin (which may contain BPA).
The bottles are a custom design - much slimmer than the 'stock' bottles readily available - and so have a completely different feel.
They use non-toxic paints and have high quality carabineers and BPA-free safe polypropylene #5 caps.
Design is also a priority for EarthLust and they pride themselves on having new art arriving regularly. EarthLust's founder Allison designs some of the bottles herself, but also works with other artists whose designs bring a different feel to the range. Many of the designs are limited edition and we are sure customers will find it difficult to resist collecting the new designs as they are released!
EarthLust bottles come in 3 sizes - 1 litre, 20 oz (0.6l) and 13 oz (0.4l) - and we will be carrying 26 designs across these three sizes for the current season.

Birds & Bees Bottles
The EarthLust range also includes the Birds & Bees baby bottles - designed to give parents a bottle that will last right through a baby and toddlers life and help combat the 20 plastic bottles and cups in the cupboard syndrome!
The same bottle can be used with a nipple top for babies and a sippy top for toddlers (both included) which also helps the transition from bottle to sippy top. The handles are removeable and can be replaced with a transition ring. The bottle itself is made from high quality, food grade stainless steel which is durable and dent resistant. It is double walled which means it will insulate the contents for up to 4 hours. PVC, BPA and phthalate-free.
Their Ethics
Allison was inspired to start EarthLust when her first baby was born. Protecting his health as well as the environment became her top priority. Using stainless steel bottles she knows that her water is safe and she doesn't have to worry about waste from individually packaged drinks.
Plastic Water Bottles
As awareness of the health benefits of staying hydrated have grown, so has the market for bottled water. Unfortunately a lot of the water drunk is
bottled in disposable plastic bottles made from polyethylene terephthalate
(PET).
In recent years, the consumption of disposable PET water bottles
has soared to about 200 billion per year worldwide. Of the estimated 13 billion plastic bottles sold in the UK last year, less than 25% were recycled. The rest
end up in landfills, where they may take up to 1000 years to decompose, or as litter in waterways and other natural areas.
Not only does the low recycling rate create litter and contribute to overflowing landfills, it also contributes to the depletion of the world’s oil resources. PET is a petroleum product . There's enough oil used in the production process of water bottles in the UK to keep over 15,000 cars on the road for a year.
Buying a resusable (EarthLust!) water bottle is therefore a great way of slowing the sales of bottled water and encouraging us to use the tap water that is free and readily available to us.
Ethically Made in China
EarthLust bottles are made in China because to date no one has been able to produce stainless steel bottles in the United States. EarthLust monitor their factory carefully to make sure that they meet their very high standards for employment and environmental impact. Someone is on site during their production cycle, and employment records are audited. Their factory utilizes modern safety standards and is ISO9001 certified. Dumping is prohibited and VOCs (volatile organic compounds) are limited.
EarthLust have also been independently audited for their ethical practices, and have been granted the Green America Seal of Approval. www.greenamericatoday.org
