Bambu Earns Gold Seal of Approval From Green America

bambu has been a longstanding member of Green America’s Green Business Network since they established their partnership in 2006. They were among the first companies in their industry to partner with Green America.

Green America’s visions is to work for a world where all people have enough, where all communities are healthy and safe, and where the bounty of the Earth is preserved for all the generations to come. It is a non-profit organization that exists to promote social justice and environmental sustainability.

Green America has recently introduced a tiered seal of approval for businesses and we're pleased to confirm that bambu has been awarded the highest honours with a Gold Seal of Approval for their commitment and action towards a greener planet.

Top Drawer - Kensington Olympia - 11 - 13th September

We'll be heading off to Olympia on Saturday to get our stand set up for Top Drawer. We'll be showing the full bambu range together with our EarthLust bottles and Keep Leaf reusable products for out and about.

New in: Great new 'Urban Farm' EarthLust bottles and Keep Leaf insulated lunch bags and food wrap.

Exclusively Housewares

We're busy getting everything ready and packed up for Exclusively Housewares which is now fast approaching. 

This show brings together the best of everything housewares at the Business Design Centre on 7th & 8th June. Its a great way of seeing what is out there before finalising Autumn assortments - and they do a very good lunch too!

We will be on our usual stand on the balcony - 426 - and will have the 2011 bambu range on our stand alongside some great new lines in EarthLust and Keep Leaf which we will be launching at the show.

Product of the Year Awards 

We enjoyed a trip to London last Friday to attend the awards ceremony for the Housewares Product of the Year Awards.

Our cute new Coco Mini Bowls had been chosen for a silver award in the tabletop category - one of the top five products selected from the 100 + entries.  The judges highlighted the fact that these little bowls are made from a 'waste' material, that they come in a range of funky colours and also that they will survive the odd fall!  

Unfortunately we were beaten to the gold award by a Camembert baker but we are still proud of our little coco minis and had a fun day out mixing with suppliers and retailers in the industry.
